Christmas Eve

Every year we spend Christmas Eve at our grandma's house. We start with appetizers, then open presents (one at a time in rounds from youngest to oldest), and then eat a huge dinner. This might just be my favorite day of every year.

Our Grandma has threatened to quit doing stockings the last few years, but so far we've been able to convince her to continue. We've already decided that next year we'll give her a break though and draw names for one another. Buying gifts for Jen, Curt, Nick, Mamie, Ali, Andy, Luke, and Matt is difficult enough, and adding stockings for all of us is a bit much for our 86 year old grandma!

Every year we do a granchild/great granchild picture on our grandma's green couch. You can see our previous years couch pictures here! This year we decided not to cram onto the couch and let the husbands sit on the arms - I think it was an excellent idea!

Just the kids - Ali, Matt, & Jen
The Hedricks - Ali, Luke, & Andy

The Trouts - Mamie, Jen, Curt, & Nick

Papa Terry with his grandkids - his expression says it all!

We know this is posted late, but better late than never right?  We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas as well and we look forward to a great New Year!
